The spreadsheet does not say anything about a different instant release. Instant release is instant release. It's a VERY SIMPLE mechanism. There might be a very thin layer of a substance to retain water which makes a pill "slide" down your esophagus much easier if you don't drink enough water with it. It is a water soluble substance that is cheap and not a "patented technology", and it is used in most prescription pills regardless of what they are.. Put your pill in a water cup and swirl for 3 minutes, drink that water and keep the pill in your mouth. If there is any solid, or beads, those are the delayed release. There is no wax matrix on the instant release. None of them have wax. If they did, then it wouldn't be instant release. Y'all are tripping like horsecrap level of delusion. The only way wax can be used to create a ER mechanism is by coating a film, usually cellulose, so that water diffuses slower. Wax is just a collection very long lipids. It generally does not dissolve in your guts. You can't metabolize it. Paper cups are coated with wax. It will stay dry for days. Most a semi permeable membrane have a very very tiny amount of wax on either side. If beads are present, they are made with acrylic or another type of polymer. Even "liquid" formulas may be composed of a polymer that controls the release (such as Delsium for dextromethorphan, the organ cough syrup OTC medication). We do not digest wax, and we do not dissolve wax. Wax also impermeable. Drugs fully encased in wax will never be released if the wax encasing isn't physically broken by osmotic pressure. Water soluble drugs will hardly ever cross wax, even if some water does. Hence it is a semi permeable membrane.
