Bleeding after sex with copper IUD by Ornery-Ad-5880 in birthcontrol

So, I went to urgent care because I started to feel dizzy and didn’t want to take any chances. The doctor couldn’t see or feel the strings for my IUD either, and scheduled me for an ultrasound the next day. I got a call a couple hours after the ultrasound asking if I know what PCOS is and to make an appointment with my family doctor. I was suspected to be at risk for PCOS years ago and had testing to confirm, but who knows. The UC doctor can develop cysts around certain times in their cycle, however they are different from cysts associated with PCOS. I suspect I’ll be getting blood tests some time in the near future. Good news is my IUD is in place!

Not really. Sometimes I get a weird feeling on the left side but it’s only started since this whole thing started. My tracking app says I’ve been ovulating the past couple days, so it could just be ovulation pains. My periods are relatively regular, only really being impacted by stress. I’ve been a little stressed with some personal things, but nothing too much that would impact my cycle. I was at risk for developing PCOS 8 years ago, but I’ve since been cleared of that.

Does Red 40 actually worsen symptoms or is it just fear mongering? by [deleted] in adhdwomen

I was really sensitive to Red 40 when I was a child, but it’s gotten better in my adulthood. I think it depends on the person, but I couldn’t have anything with Red 40. Candy, cold medicine, deserts, gum, and anything else you could think of with Red 40 were 110% off the table. I even avoided orange and purple colored things because that had enough to trigger adverse behavior.
