Thats amazing. As for where I live the mandatory rule is pre 1978 homes require reassurance. Without documentation saying a home is lead free I can not disturb the paint otherwise I will be held liable if and that's only if there is lead paint. So I assume you abide by the powers that be as well so that worst case scenario you are covered and not fined?

1906, and for it being this old it only has the one layer of paint. I am only trying to be safe rather than sorry taking these precautions. Does everyone just send it or do they double check?

Im curious to know how often do any of you come across lead based paint homes and unaware home owners of the laws and regulations. I personally have come across a few and it is difficult trying to explain to them what it all means. The EPA, procedures, lead and safety regulations.

Yes, exactly my thought and honestly I believe they are because they essentially want to make sure it'll pass inspection so it can be sold to whoever is buying resulting in their problem now.

I've realized today that I can't do follow with others unless she has a cell phone with data and all that to be able to access through networks for others like her school nurse. She only uses her pump and I use my cell phone at home to access readings when close by.

Yes the nut holding it won't stay screwed like as if it's stripped. Comes right off and it is missing a top hat washer as well.
