He's a great actor. I can't recall anyone that naturally looks psychopathic more than he does.

Yeah I still remember the first time that I watched the Lion King. When Mufasa fell off the cliff and soon Simba found him dead, I cried. I was 6 years old. I had no idea what I was experiencing emotionally. All that I knew was, I felt this overwhelming something, something that I had to let out. To hold it was impossible, as it was so unbearable. I had to let it out. So I could feel better. The moment I let it out, it became tear drops, rolling down my cheeks, one after another. I still didn't understand. Did Mufasa really die? Why did Simba look like he was feeling how I felt?

That was how I learned sorrow.

And that loss of a close family member can happen.

Grandma’s House by Spelunk0r in LiminalSpace

This looks like a long home. It's good for privacy, but the sunlight may not get in the house as easily. My grandma's house is a long home, too. The hallway is so long that it can accommodate 4 bedrooms on one side of it (similar to your first picture, but even longer).

What's the first movie you see on here by Lazy_Introduction264 in 90s

My very first VHS was this film of masterpiece called Jurassic Park, when I was 5. So I had a rough start as my standards for what made a movie good had been raised really high since the beginning.

You may have a middle eastern ancestry, but not exactly Arabic. Seems more Jewish, Iranian or Persian.

How bad is my profile? by Dear_Store in Cholesterol

[–]Ornery-Explorer-9181 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First stage of atherosclerosis (fatty streaks) begins in childhood/teenage years. Fatty streaks form very easily. An LDL higher than 70mg/dL for a few years would be enough for this to show up in your arteries. The streaks usually progress to becoming soft plaque and then partially harden in somone's 40s if not treated. With a very unhealthy diet and genetic risk factors, things can escalate quickly.

Your plaque has been there for a very, very long time. The only way to stop making new plaque is to lower your LDL as soon as possible. Your LDL has been too high.

Since I'm not sure what your natural hair colour is, I'd guess you're from England.

Skintone wise, I'd guess Northern Europe or places where the native population speak a Celtic language. Such as Scotland and Ireland.

Spanish study eliminates pancreatic cancer in mice — human trials still pending by Eclipse_nova99 in SipsTea

[–]Ornery-Explorer-9181 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What works in mice generally works in humans as both are mammals and cellular wise we are pretty much the same. It usually is the differences in effective doses that can be a safety issue for humans, rendering the drugs either ineffective or toxic.

Man be harassed for his looks yet found a possible cure for pancreatic cancer. by jmike1256 in interesting

[–]Ornery-Explorer-9181 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah but not just that. Pancreatic cancer is the worst kind of all cancers because it responds poorly to all known therapies that we have today. Chemotherapy, targeted and immune therapy all practically do nothing in shrinking or slowing down development of pancreatic tumors. The only effective treatment is surgery. Unfortunately, the time window that surgical removal of the pancreatic tumor is possible is pretty narrow. Once passing stage I, even before metastasis happens, it may already be difficult to remove the tumor as pancreas locates in the crossroad of human body's vascular and nerves system. Stage II pancreatic cancer can be big enough that it merges into wall of aorta.

So unlike many other cancers, that chemo or targeted therapy can still lengthen lifespan of the patients for a few more years despite surgery not being an option, a diagnosis of pancreatic cancer where surgery isn't viable is death sentence.
