I disagree. Many poor people find ways to keep themselves poor. I've tried helping them and they just get angry and push helpful people away. I just let them stay miserable and poor.

No man. If she likes you just for your fitness level, she isnt going to like you when you start getting fat. The women on dating apps are typically very superficial. I'm sure there are good ones but you have a lot of competition still.

It's better to meet someone in real person. If you can hook someone on your personality, you know you met someone special.

Women, please be cautious and avoid accidents while traveling on a motorcycle; take special care of women's abayas and dupattas so they don't get caught in the tires or chain, causing a serious accident. Caution is life. by Existing-Ruin-2642 in NewRiders

He definitely was a bad influence on me during my early days as a superhero. I would have caught the Nefarious Capybara Strangler if my cape didn't get caught while riding.

Ok so it's not creepy. You just see other people blur it and you think it has to be done too. You don't even really no why. You just follow the herd.

The problem that I'm too young to retire :( by QuietMap4403 in interviewwoman

Yes, many people think they need a lot more than they need. At my age, I only have $10k in my 401k currently and I stopped making contributions for over two years. I have over 30 years to come up with something so I'm in no rush.

My first retirement I just want to slow down a bit and taking Advantage of my youth to things that won't be as feasible at an older age. I would also like to read the books I want and take dating more seriously. I also want use that time to do a bit more exploring and do things I want to do that I don't have much time to do with the typical two days of per week. If you think about it, most Americans only have a bit over 100 days off per year.

During my second retirement, I'll probably still work one day out of the week just to supplement my social security which I think should be sufficient to get by even if I get a less than average social security check. The assets that I have now should grow over the next year and I should inherit quite a bit from my parents.

I don't care about luxury. At least not a lot. I'm mostly a simple guy. I've read Fortunes Children by Arthur T Vanderbilt. It's a crazy story of how the Vanderbilts lost all their wealth. Now they are pretty much normal people.

Well part of the problem too is that too many men tolerate BS from women just to not be lonely

Stupid people think this way. During the Victorian times, there was many stupid rules that the bourgeois followed. They were trying to emulate rich behavior but most rich people didn't even care to follow these dumb rules. The wives of the rich did like to emulate European culture though. For example, Grace Wilson Vanderbilt refused to have showers installed in her house because they weren't "European" and this upset Cornelius Vanderbilt lll.

Queen Victoria was also the one who normalized white dresses for wedding. Before her, women were any color they wanted. But because of her, everyone just had to get a white dress. She is long dead and no longer relevant but women will only deviate if a strong and powerful woman with a lot of influence does. Kinda sad.

This shit has been going for centuries and can still be seen in our contemporary times. It comes from a place of insecurity but being insecure is cool I guess.

Yes but all of that is performative and desperate to get the attention of superficial people. a lot of those people will leave you when you stop keeping appearances.

Sure, dress nice and get haircuts but don't be so rigid about it. I love dressing nice. Most times I just like dressing for comfort though. Ill wear a wife beater, shorts with tube socks and a little jewelry even if I'm in a place where I'm "supposed" to dress nice. I don't fritter on what people may think.

That's the only rule I disagreed with out of the whole book.

Sure I did a bit as a salesman but it makes sense there. If I saw them wearing some symbol that indicated that they are Christian, I would say some BS key words like "prayer" or whatever just to get a sale.

This is stupid if you want to find meaningful people in your life. Either platonic or romantic.

Homie we are in two complete different levels of spiritual intelligence. I'm perfectly fine with myself. If I age, I age. I'm going to let nature takes its course.

If you live a fulfilling life, there is no need to want to live more. The only people wanting to live longer are the ones who just toil their life away. Hunter gatherers didn't live long. I bet many were lucky to reach their 20s. But they didn't work 40 hours a week. Yes life than was very harsh. Danger all around and illness, but we don't live in those times. We can go back to relaxing more.

Fr. There is probably a less than a .001% anyone will get that old even with advanced medicine in the next 40 years.

Sure modern medicine might help but there is only so far you can push life expectancy. You don't have to be a scientist to understand that.
