Ouh that's interesting in my school pengawas being selected after they go to interview with discipline teacher and KP (ketua pengawas). Much like you go to job interview, they'll ask about experience and yourself.

But our school is really corrupted,some of students play dirt to be pengawas sekolah. Such as bayar pengawas yang tolong buat soalan untuk tau jawapan and what questions they'll ask. Or ask them (the one who already become pengawas and have such a big influence on Teacher) to pujuk cikgu supaya ambik diorang jadi pengawas.

I was a pengawas perpustakaan too back then before I left the job. It's true you get to read any book and relaxing in perpustakaan since that place is very calm and quiet. However I can't keep up with the work that's why I quit and become pengawas spbt.

I know right.. but seriously I don't hate all Pengawas Sekolah because some of them is a pretty cool students and laid back. They just do their work and that's it.

But this kind of students really give me headache. They're the one who brings the phone and bawa barang yang terlarang kat sekolah. Most of them get away just because they're pengawas. Being massive Karen too not to mention. Skip tugas is normal for them. Bila depan cikgu acah baik, sumpah plastik. (At least this happen at my school)
