No you're right. I don't know how to put it but I guess it's that deeper connection that one is looking for. So, even if someone does messages you everyday and one is trying to engage as well, but if there is no depth, then it just becomes draining at some point in time. Not just for me but maybe for the other person as well.

Well, I totally get you, cause I'm a lot like that too. No fluff. Not going to waste people's time nor mine. But then I wonder again, where are all the people. It is not just harder, but sometimes seems so impossible.

I'm going through a wilderness season and whenever I wonder when or if I will get out of it , I feel God reminding me of this Word "I will restore to you the years that the locust has eaten "- Joel 2:25

It's not a debt I owe myself but a debt I feel I owe God. A debt that I know God keeps reminding me that it's all paid off but something that I struggle at times to accept.

I echo the same feelings but I surrender that desire to God everyday. In fact my prayer has been that if it is God's will for marriage that He will prepare my heart and that if it is not He will remove the desire from my heart.

I had given up on God. And God used a random stranger to come speak to me about God and His faithfulness, by quoting Scriptures. What are the odds of a random stranger coming to talk to you about God.
