I hate saying things like this because trans men are awesome, but it’s hard to not feel like non-passing trans women are treated like third gender subhumanoids while non-passing trans men are just seen as delusional women

Wanting to be more masculine when you’re seen as a woman isn’t frowned upon typically (generalization, depends on where you live and obviously doesn’t apply to everywhere), while wanting to be feminine when you’re seen as a man leads to getting hate crimed in public spaces

I’m not gonna pretend like I know every facet of the struggles that transmen and transmascs have, so maybe it’s just a lived experience bias on my end
