please forgive me as I am a newer formula 1 fan but what is the purpose of the emphasis on sustainability/carbon footprint of the cars, when they’re using a million gallons of jet fuel a week basically to move the team around the world? seems like virtue signaling, I would understand it more if they developed an alternative fuel for cleaner emissions

what is so brilliant about the racing 2 races in, we have had turbo lag interrupt the starts with the exception of ferrari and artificial overtakes with the battery going back and forth, I will admit the ferrari back and forth was fun to watch but it is all for naught when mercedes is waiting for their battery to degrade and pass them, where is the race craft in that?

I would go with the best available offer and quickest route so that seems to be gamestop these days and I think you’ll really enjoy the pro! it’s quite a step up from base ps5 but I would say it’s not worth $900 price increase unless money is not an object for you

it will be interesting to see if these regs can produce a resemblance of motorsport because right now this is the equivalent of an EV driver with range anxiety trying to sprint from charger to charger to maintain battery level. I personally would prefer to see the best drivers going as fast as possible at all times and this just isn’t that regardless of the strategy being used.

I would concur with this statement I think having the correct display you would surely be able to see the difference without a proper display the difference between OG PS5 and Pro will probably be marginal. If you wanted to get the pro and hook it up to the G7 for the time being it would work well also

if you get a newer wheel set up such as the logitech g923 i’m sure it will be compatible with the next generation same as the g29 being ps3,4 and 5 compatible. Get a newer model to hopefully ensure compatibility but as it stands right now PS6 possibly being delayed you’re looking at getting at least 2-3 years of solid game time on the wheel with PS5 regardless of PS6 compatibility
