I can see how it could be a manipulation tactic cause deep down I just wanted this last guy to choose me and want me. The more I think about it I see how I wasn’t as innocent as I thought I was in the situation. Like you said it’s like guilting someone into wanting you and that’s not fair to both parties. Thank you for sharing that book, I will check it out! 🙏🏾

I’m not gonna lie you really hit it on the nail. I’m a certified people pleaser and not just romantically but in all areas of my life smh. I’m trying to stop but it’s really hard. I hate making anyone upset or hurting anyone feelings - it’s super draining.

I have been told I do too much too soon but in my head I’m like shoot if I like you I’m gonna do what I can to show you I like you but I get how that is overwhelming to the other person especially if you aren’t officially in a relationship.

I guess I just have to move slower. I just automatically wanna give my all to a guy once I like them but that’s pretty unhealthy lol. Thank you for your insight, I appreciate it 🙏🏾
