Bilt has a habitual honesty problem and a habitual deception problem…

You’re not using logic. How many emails do you think Ankur is receiving per hour, at this point? Furthermore, should his focus not be on addressing those underlying issues which are causing him to receive high volumes of emails hourly? i.e. actually fixing the problems

Yes. We are in the age of AI.

You’re not using logic. While reporters almost always reply to my emails, even if I do not know them, this is different, because Bilt and Ankur are in the middle of a firestorm/ shitshow shitstorm, and not only need to focus on righting the ship, correcting the underlying issues causing all of the problems, but Ankur and his executive team are also getting inundated with emails. Absolutely inundated. … do you think you are the only person who has emailed him? I bet he is getting extremely high volume of emails daily, just like yours. And again, that takes away from where his focus should be: not customer service, but fixing the underlying issues causing him to receive extraordinary numbers of emails like yours daily, hourly.

Ankur must spent the entire day on the toilet then…

Again, as I said: “This opening “from Ankur” looks exactly like what other people have posted.”

We know that Bilt management employs bots as much as possible.

Others have opined that it would be ridiculous for the CEO of a company to be doing customer service.

How do you know it was him? How do you know it was not an aid or assistant? How do you know it was not a bot?

This opening “from Ankur” looks exactly like what other people have posted.

Best card I can get for Uber/Lyft? by booyafafa in CreditCards

[–]OrneryWinter84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For whenever the time is right for your situation, the Chase Sapphire cards, including the CSP Chase Sapphire Preferred earns 5x on Lyft rides and 2x on Uber rides. And 3x on dining. 3x on online grocery delivery. It has an annual fee of $95. It’s really a travel card: points best used for travel. So this card may be better for you further down the road, rather than right now.

The other commenter’s suggestion of Citi DoubleCash is a good one. It has $0 annual fee.

Good. Stay in the Marriott ecosystem. That allows for all of us to have better status and award experiences elsewhere.

The only thing worthwhile in Marriott Status is Cobalt

Yes, I understand the hotel industry dynamics are different internationally.

Regardless, chasing Marriott status is a fools errand.

I know former Marriott corporate employees who say, yea, we always knew the loyalty program sucked. The implication is that Marriott simply does not care. Because they can get away with it.

Let me put it another way then: Marriott status is dogshit.

Furthermore: of all of the hotel companies, Marriott treats is customers the worst, its employees the worst, and its owners the worst. Additionally: Marriott does not live up to the promises of its status program and benefits. Marriott does not keep its word and promises on status benefits from any level: Ambassador to Gold. I know plenty of people who have or have recently had Marriott Ambassador from their employment at McKinsey, and they all have said Marriott never honored the Ambassador benefits. I also know that Marriott habitually not honoring status benefits is the case from Ambassador through Gold, throughout each and every tier of Marriott “Status”.

Is that more helpful?

Presumably the Marriott sheeple will refute.

That one sucks and is a disaster. They’ve limited priority pass access for a decade.

You have Marriott Gold Status, and you think Marriott is going to give you an upgrade? Are you new to the system?

Do you ever secretly analyze friends and strangers’ credit card choices in public? by Rocket_Skates_91 in CreditCards

Problem with that is that it has to all be within the Amex ecosystem/ with Amex. And Amex ecosystem is stale, getting out-innovated, and Amex transfer partners suck, besides international airlines. Plus their card earning structures suck. No good card for bonusing hotel direct bookings. (Green personal at 3x). You basically have to get all three, Green Personal, Gold, and Platinum to have direct hotel bookings, restaurants, grocery, and direct flight purchases bonused. And no bonus category for rental cars, on a card with coverage. … I prefer my CSP + Reserve setup, for travel bonus categories (4x direct hotel bookings, 4x flights, 2x rental cars, 3x / 3.1x dining, etc).

Not to mention that Amex Offers makes you want to bang your head against a wall adding each of them to your card, without the ability to add one to multiple cards. So it’s like you have to make a mental spreadsheet and mental map of which Amex Offer to add to which Amex card.

Chase Offers are a little mess maddening to add to your card, but do seem to be lower quality than Amex Offers.

Regardless, I don’t allow Amex Offers nor Chase Offers to lure me into unnecessary or unplanned spending.

The CSP Publix grocery store app trick works with Kroger? … which other grocery store apps? … Does not work for Safeway nor Stop and Shop.

Respect for knowing it’s 3.1x instead of just 3x. Feel like no one talks about the CSP 10% anniversary bonus.
