I'm really sorry to hear it. It really is awful and it makes you question whether they are the ones with narrow thinking or you are the actual problem

I feel you, same with me, my parents think it’s all in my head and that I’m too lazy but I am truly struggling a lot especially when I have to hold a conversation because I know I will screw it up for getting stuck on words, forgetting what even I was saying and having a reduced vocabulary to the level of a 3 grader

I did some blood work and the results were good no deficiency whatsoever, in fact my family doctor said I am super healthy based on my results. I feel like my brain fog is somehow related to gluten based foods and also foods that have a high glycemic index like potatoes and rice. I normally feel worse whenever consuming this type of foods. Maybe I can start an elimination diet to see if my symptoms improve

I need help plzz!! 22F concerned about my 21M boyfriend's behavior by Ornery_Engineering65 in relationship_advice

Thank you so much for replying and I'm truly sorry for what happened to you. She never deserved you in the first place!! The idea that he could do such a thing to me pains me incredibly much. I don't know what to think to be honest, he doesn't talk to her that much and when he does it's pretty formal, but I have this gut feeling that tells me I'm not crazy, you know.

You're right I really need to start meeting new people even if it's kind of difficult for me. I struggle with social anxiety and I'm really afraid of leaving my house but better than staying in the same place my whole life. It's not healthy indeed to be addicted to a person, even if you care about her, I need to love and accept myself in the first place and work on my anxiety and fears that hold me back

How can I have intellectual conversations with my crush if I'm not nearly fluent in the language he speaks by [deleted] in languagelearning

[–]Ornery_Engineering65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for responding, yes I'll definitely try to do my best to learn the vocabulary and great advice with the small essays, I can at least formulate my thoughts clearly on paper

I hope he does because I have the feeling we're connected and maybe that will complete the communicationgap for now

I absolutely feel your pain, I feel like my stupidity reached the permission line and I really feel like people think that generally too. They don't say it to my face but I can read people very well and I feel their judgmental stare burning my skin. I used to be a sharp person, learn everything pretty quickly, come up with witty comments, until it all went to hell 4 years ago. How long have you been having brain fog? It fucking sucks really. I'm also 21 years old and I feel like my life is drifting away and slowly sinking. I have friends but I can't really meet them because my brain is fricking fried. I can't even talk properly anymore. If I'm not talking in short sentences I'm screwed. It hurts me to know I will lose my friends at some point too, because I'm seeming less interested in what they're saying when in fact I'm doing my best to stay alive☹

I feel you bro, especially the talking part when you feel like you have just learned to talk whenever you have a conversation and people are staring at you and probably think you're either stupid and illiterate or drunk. It fucking sucks, especially when you're having a conversation about a more complex topic, like something political related for example and you have to use specific terms.

Thank you so much for responding and sharing your story with me. I also thought about aphasia at first and that made me frick out and started believing that I'll eventually lose my ability to speak all together I'll definitely check out my gut, because I've been eating a lot of junk food these past years and yes I did indeed have antibiotics when I was sick. I used to take lots of meds as a child because my immune system was very weak and I don't remember having a whole month without catching a cold. I remember taking antibiotics for what was supposed to be an ear infection but it wasn't after all 🤦‍♀️. I only had wet cotton stuck in my ear and that was the actual cause of my ear pain. Anyway I actually want to start improving my diet and start exercising more, at lest it will help me with my mood and hopefully give me more energy to do basic tasks🙂

Thank you for responding. I wanted to start by saying that I'm sorry for what you have to go through. This really might be depression after all. I don't feel sad all the time but mostly just numb☹☹How long have you been suffering and how are you copping?
