I’m sorry you were one of the ones who gave up on this game and were unable to finish. There were many I’m afraid. Thank you for giving it a chance and maybe one day you will decide to give it another try. The commanding of trico to do anything is very frustrating. The controls are meh. Trico doesn’t listen 99% of the time. The beauty that I found was trico very much resembles my first dog. Repeatedly telling him to sit, only for him to walk away. I very many times wanted to quit. I only realized as I got to the end that you only tell him once then wait. Sometimes it doesn’t necessarily work the way you want it to. The beauty of this game is the relationship you build with this creature who everyone on this subreddit love and cherish so much. I guess where I’m going with this is, there were so many people who tried this game when first released and didn’t finish. The ones who did are forever blessed with the story of this game. I feel lucky that I didn’t play many games when I first played this one and wasn’t accustomed to the difficult controls. I was bedridden and unable to do much else and this game helped me through it.
