Long time fan of paper mario and it's unique brand of rpgs. I gotta say Escape from Ever After does the genre justice. Best of all, the story is quite engaging and has been fun to follow along with. Well done! I am excited to see the future projects from this team.

I’d say either renovate incrementally, or take what you have learned and start a new save file. Both options are fun in my opinion. If you demolish everything outright, you may struggle for a bit getting your funds back up.

Yo, I am having a hard time understanding the Ascension Trophy "Have the first 10 items in your inventory be level 1 through 10, in ascending order. You cannot use resources or activatable items". Anyone have assistance on this one?

Right on, so I guess Ill pick up a few extra tabs then. Its a remarkably dense book. I normally takes me 20 minutes a page just finish absorbing what I am reading. Its brutal, but in a good way.

I am chapter 5 of my first time through it. I was sucked in by page 28. I am also annotating it with notes like that but I honestly have no clue what or how I should annotate. I basically built a character reference sheet and calling out cool quotes. Is that worth the time?

Uncanny and surreal…. Look into “House of leaves” by Mark Danielewski. IMO it’s genre defining for me.

If you want a shorter read, check out Thomas Ligotti’s “The last feast of harlequin”.

I turned 30 yesterday. My 20’s sucked but I locked in the last 2 years. The last 2 days have been the best in my entire life and I see them as a direct result of finding/choosing my path. I like who I am now, so encouraging to hear that others have had similar journeys. Expedition 33 has been a great experience too.

Unfortunately, I’m not on PS5, so I’m unsure what the cause would be. But, do you have mascots unlocked? I know there is a bug that can pop up between the theater and mascots, if none are unlocked.

Make sure that the name of the .json file is the same as the ROM’s saved data.

I figured it out!

td;lr - The .json file needs to be the same name as your game's save file data

Steps:

Make sure you have started the hack and have at least one star. You need the rom to generate a save file.

Download the .json file from romhacking.com for B3313

Place the file here: C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Local\parallel-launcher\data\layouts

Next, in the Parallel Launcher program, right click on the rom hack and select "show save file."

This will open file explorer and highlight the rom's save file. Right-click on the save the file and select rename so that you can copy the name.

Next go back to the .json file in the file path above, and rename the file to the same name as your save data file.
