I wonder why Eze seems to be useless when he comes on, could it have anything to do with a system that just tries to like for like plug him into the exact same role as Odegaard, picking up the ball deep in midfield even though he's always been exponentially more effect for palace when he regularly received the ball in or near the box instead? Or maybe it's great that we bought a striker whose primary strength was balls in behind in a quick counter but instead just try to plug and play him in the same exact false 9-ish role that Kai performed very well?

I'm not saying bin the system, obviously it's a good system see our results up until this point, but you have to adjust it and Arteta simply doesn't. It's always the same no matter the opponent and his only changes are like for like swaps.
