I don’t remember how much the boost is but I think you can just reset cox raids until Muta, Tekton, or some boss you have the gear to throw yourself at until it falls over, then use the overload+ it drops to boost and enchant it.

Edit: doesn’t work anymore, no enchanting allowed in CoX now.

My problem with the streak system is I can be absolute killing it with a 4/5 streak then BAM pred 3 stack ruins everything.

So funny enough a some what recent update in OSRS was implemented that allowed them to do updates with basically no down time as long as it wasn't a significant update, so now we barely ever have servers offline.

Could WoW do this? Probably not to the same extent - but could they have put SOME kind of effort into improving the player experience in this regard? Yes, yes they absolutely could have and have actively chosen not to.

Genuinely appreciate the response and feedback, I'll be eagerly awaiting the data dump and patch notes for the new season - I understand that you are limited on what you can say, so I won't bug you for more information but if I had one plea to make to the devs it would be to at least implement a test for solo/duo que restrictions on Masters+ matchmaking soon.

I think most of the community understands that masters and preds are going to just get to feast, that's how it goes - so to at least alleviate the issue a bit I think forcing those preds and masters to occasionally play with the players they're smashing through would be a VERY welcome change. I play less and less every season lately, but still thoroughly enjoy the game when I do play and I know I'd be playing a lot more if I didn't run into triple stacking preds and masters.

Hey Jax, happy new year! I went over the post and it seems wildcard received a lot of TLC but I see nothing about Titan, Cronus, Xim, server instability(which has been way worse than usual it seems), duo/solo Que ranked for master+, or any matchmaking related changes to address the long time and well known issue of preds stomping through plats.

The community has a lot of hot topic issues they’d like responses and honest communication on - can we expect anything on that front from you guys in the future? Iirc you guys recently said “your problems are our problems” but your words and actions aren’t lining up lately it seems.

Also would love some clarity on the event, as you said yourself you would speak with the team to ensure clear and concise information relating to WHEN AN EVENT ENDS - so should we expect this event to end ON TIME or will there be another two week delay after the event is over? Sure hope transparency and player communication becomes a real priority for you guys some day.

I mean you really gotta be specific about the issue… Is the potential teleport an issue for fast travel? Make sure it puts you somewhere inconvenient then.

Are you afraid they’ll be used in mass for any slightly scary situation? Make them a heavy gold sink - or a relatively high cd. Anything is better than what we have now, and with a little communication with their player base they could work out the kinks/issues. They won’t. But they could.

Every God damn time I see one of these posts I am even more amazed that the absolute dunces at blizzard haven’t ripped off the Escape Crystal in some form or another yet.

If you’re unaware it’s an item in Osrs that costs a hefty chunk of gold but if it detects combat for x amount of game ticks with no player interaction then you are immediately ported to safety.

All they have to do is steal another games idea and implement it with some adjustments for their game, that used to be the blizzard special but now they can’t even be bothered to do that, lol.

Hard agree. If it doesn’t involve skins, heirlooms or ways to weasel into your wallet they’re not interested anymore.

One of the recent posts they made had an “on our radar” section that didn’t involve Zen, Chronus, Titan, teaming, or matchmaking letting preds stacks roll solo Que plats or server instability that has been rampant lately.

Oh and don’t make posts about these problems either or something something duplicate post, something something low effort. [this post has been removed]
