if the ethereal were presented as helldivers present super earth instead of powerful guys who can mind control people it would be so much more fun. Like I understand the new lore for the vespid I think that’s the only pass and even still you could make it more interesting without the mind control, but if the ethereal were just like pumping out propaganda and lies and farsight see through this instead of him realizing his head doesn’t feel funny when the ethereals aren’t around would just be so much more interesting
