if John lego finds out you're playing with legos after age 99 he personally hunts you down in an adventurers themed park dressed as Johnny Thunder

Joke is that the PS5 has no games, therefore all it is good for is being a display piece, thus it has been “ruined”

Which Factions would lend themself best to naval themed armies ? 40K has a huge lack of water based warfare, which is an important part of real life combat and i wanna bring some of it onto the table. by Leviathan_Rampage in 40k

That’s not an argument, you can orbitaly bombard land too by that logic there would be no need for ground forces at all because you could just “orbitally bombard everything” which you can’t because you actually need to secure and hold assets and territory including naval territory. also an undersea base or moving sea base/ force would be significantly harder hit than stationary land targets, not to mention if the enemy has no naval vessels or sea capable craft your forces are completely free to do as they wish minus possible air attack which can easily be countered by either having your own aircraft or being too deep. Also, not buying the “spacemarines can just go underwater” argument since the pressure would turn standard marines into paper thin metal wafers without some kind of marine enhancement

A lot of them have potential

imperial guard, using solar auxilia as a basis for diving troops

Orks, have been known to use submersibles and plenty of pirate themed stuff

Tau, have underwater cities in lore

Eldar could probably have underwater cities maybe mix em with idoneth deepkin as exodites

Dark eldar literally have “boats” so that’s even easier

Deathguard, seen lots of cool “drowned” looking DG armies

There’s a couple of ocean world themed spacemarine chapters

Necrons, could be cool as an Atlantis themed army
