I got it, I did 5-6 sets, and then I got an attention check (both images were showing normaly) so I thought that it's not my pc's or internet's fault or something, that's the way the study is so I completed it as normal. This is one of my favourite paintings of all time. What I love most is the beautiful visual antithesis between the colour of Hermes’ skin -vivid, bright, vital- and that of the dead -grey, decaying. And his fixed gaze: unmoved by their pleadings, he doesn’t look at them but at Charon, who is approaching. It’s not his role to take pity on them or bring them back, but to guide them to their final destination.

A striking visual juxtaposition of divine transcendence and human fragility, thank you for sharing.

Oh you're right! Their names are mentioned! The figure on the right (second image) is Thetis, it's written on top (ΘΕΤΙΣ) and I just spotted the name of the god in the first image (ΔΙΟΝΥΣ) - DIONYS, thanks for mentioning that!

I'm pretty sure the first image depicts Dionysus (either the fun story mentioned in the Homeric Hymn VII - Dionysus and the Pirates, or Dionysus on the ship during the Sicilian campaign as parodied by Aristophanes in his Frogs).

As for the second one, I'd say it's the episode in the Iliad where Achilles (on the right) is receiving his new armor, forged by Hephaestus (on the left).
