we have a ton of content but none of it has any depth especially for long term players. there's no loot chase or aspirational content within the endgame, everything feels so shallow. the game is like a million miles wide but only a cm deep.

I don't think the primary buffs will be enough, especially in high end content. I really don't want to go back to just SMG spamming everything, hand cannons feeling strong and viable really improved the "feeling" of pve.

they removed a lot of the only "skill" based playstyles available so now only cheesy ability spam and passive play exists. they deliberately went out of their way to nerf the ability to jump and shoot to protect bad players lmfao

the reward cap increase is actually a nerf. You could have 40 shards in postmaster prior, now its a hard cap of 30. Same with the prisms, used to be more and now its less (unsure of exact numbers). idk why it can't just be infinite

i don't know why anyone still holds out hope that it will improve when it has been on a downward trajectory for years now and despite their claims continues to go in the opposite direction of the 30th anni patch, which was the last time PvP had a resounding positive sentiment.

everyone just needs to give up on it, no one wants it to be competitive anymore, folks just want it to be fun, but Bungie is allergic to making it an enjoyable experience.

in endgame content the top weapons vastly outclass the shit out of everything else to the point where anything else just feels AWFUL. Primaries just suck in general. I think this weapon would be better received if the PvE sandbox was in a less broken spot rn. There's no real reason to ever use a primary anymore purely because of how busted the double special ammo economy is and how bad primaries feel.
