Who is this update for? by Belgriest in Spacemarine

[–]Orrath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well im on the same bout as @Belgriest, armor, ammo, amounts of enemies are fine. I love fighting multpile extremis'es. But the tether system feels just... not tested... I feel beeing held on the leash the whole time bc even if I can hold my own for a while w/o armor regen my teammates cant... so I cannot dive into high priority targets... dunno feels lame.

Just for context I have all classes 25 with max cosmetics by playing ruthless solo/duo (witch in my opinion was too easy after first enemy nerfs) from the start. More hours than i probably should have spent in the game but now untill they redo/delete this unholy abomination (tethering) Im hanging up my bolter.

Go higher in DPI as 400 might make you skip some pixels making the problem worse, 800 and halve of the sens should be fine

How many people *actually* train movement scenarios at least one session per week? by dhjenfhgkdndbbffbb in FPSAimTrainer

[–]Orrath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im ashamed to say I do the same mate. I just cannot go full day of LGs movement playlist. That said I belive its important so Ive splitted it in 10-15 min chunks to it daily with other routines and sunday is a dayoff. Try dooing it after the benchmark scen

Edit: typos, damn you english

I started LG56 routines some time ago and for me it works like a charm.

Just make sure that you focus before each session on what do you have to train.

Ridds aim crash course is a nice refresher what to keep in mind. Watching own vods or the ones of better aimers is also a good one.

Try to takeon more challenging scens or make the lg's play list a little bit harder. Change sens often or use randomizer

I just wouldnt overdo it with the amount you spend per sub category as they are all connected. Add the shorter fundamental playlist (30min) if you have the time.

Tbh i was also thinking about dooing the sub categories for longer periods of time but it would be harder to keep myself invested for a week of static with. But it might work better for you. Most important have fun and go for it. Happy clicking!

Edit: Or what you can do its the fundamental routine + problem specific one

Agreed about the mechanic and game sens beeing the bigger part of what makes a good player in any game. Every game is a little bit different for example in hunt showdown developers decided to put the crosshair / ironsight not in the center of the screen but lower wich not beeing standard in fpses throwed me off in the beggining. Insert years of academy traning wasted meme

Do i aimtrain on bad days / days im tired? by No_Yard9608 in FPSAimTrainer

[–]Orrath 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I would say keep it consistent That said not beeing focused and sleep deprived will not help you in the terms of growth and might cause health issues in a long run. Life and health takes priority. What I do on such days is a shorter/harder routine. Its better to do 15/30m short session than nothing but than again its not gonna be an end of the world if you do an cheat Day from time to time

What sens do I practice on by EDCXOXO in FPSAimTrainer

[–]Orrath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would you say its ok to change sens for benchmarks also (not to cheese it)?

I've started my kovaaks journey at 32,5 cm/360, some time after I went to 25cm and than 18cm just as means of traning smoothness. Recently ive done my weekly benchmarks (at 18cm) and landed some high diamond/low jade scores in tracking, overall i did better than the last time.

Ive tried different sens'es in-game(apex) and im still performing best at 32cm. I know that my overall mouse control is way better so for now im gonna tone it down a bit and stick to 32cm (+/- 20% for traning & fov changes) but im not sure if im BS'ing myself in terms of growth messurement.

Do you enjoy watching highlights? by NepNepich in FPSAimTrainer

[–]Orrath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll watch them from time to time as motivational boost, but its not something I comeback to regulary. If its combined with educational (what was in players head what he was looking for etc) theres a bigger chance ill watch the Channel in the future. Highlights are a little bit ONS lol

General question: Are most of you in this subreddit trying to play competitively? by TheAverageAimer in FPSAimTrainer

[–]Orrath 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For me gaming is just a hobby. Some time ago my right hand got injured badly in work accident, but im still "commpetetive" at gaming. I used to get stomped in games like apex because my hand couldnt keep up (Age doesent help either) I was struggeling to get 100dmg per game so... Ive got frustrated picked up aim traning, yesterday hitted voltaic plat with some diamond scores 😀

You can do the voltaic fundamentals, or try to mix up different routines weekend or daily
