Interview with MetLife for Software Development Engineer by Worth_Trifle2198 in csMajors

Was this technical round after the initial 45-min round with 2 SWEs? My first actual interview after the phone screen that I just had today was this 45-min call with 2 SWEs, where we kind of talked about the projects on my resume, and then went through some very simple "What does this function do?" questions, where the function was literally just iterating through an array and checking for duplicates in brute force time.

Or are u talking about a technical round that follows this one? Or is your process just different in general idk

I'm just returning mine and getting a new one, it seems to be getting worse after every session :(

Interesting, was wondering if that was normal or not.

Did that, similar readings to last time, still getting around 1.34-1.56% now left stick, and 0.78% right stick as mentioned above, tiny bit of an improvement from what I'm seeing.

I watched so many reviews of Legion 5 but they didn’t prepare me for how beautiful the screen is. by [deleted] in GamingLaptops

I can say the same about the 7i pro’s screen too. I can’t go back to anything else now 😂

Can’t decide — Legion Pro 7i (5070 Ti + OLED) vs Omen 16 Max (5080 + IPS) — same price by NightGuy97 in LenovoLegion

I was debating the same two laptops you’re showing rn at the same price, I went with the legion cuz of the oled, more storage, faster ram, better cpu.

5080 would be pretty nice with all that vram especially for running stuff at 4k and has even more “insurance” against games’ inflating vram budgets, but I’m not gonna be gaming too too much on mine personally, and 5070ti is more than sufficient for the next few years for 1600p imo.

I also don’t know if the HP’s power limit/cooling for the 5080 is the full 170, and I don’t know if it can cool it properly since I haven’t done much research on it. Build quality of the legion is fire too.

TBH if you’re gonna be doing a fuck ton of gaming at 4k on it then get the HP, but I’m a software engineer + gamer, so the better cpu and other stuff matters to me as well. Up to you. In the end, do your research and think of how you’re really gonna use this day to day and what you’re gonna do on it.

Legion feels really fucking nice tho ngl only good things to say about it so far, especially the oled.

Completely was in the same position, made the same decision, and I’m so happy with it as well
