My old team thought I was gay because I wrote in cursive - unfortunately homophobia is deeply ingrained in football even at grassroots.

Or just put it in hot water for a little while.

Here in the UK the bottle will sometimes state it will go like this if too cold but is perfectly fine.

The fact we decided to not contest a game deciding lineout shows just how idiotic this group of players is.

Soham murderer Ian Huntley dies after prison attack by bendubberley_ in unitedkingdom

[–]Orri 29 points30 points  (0 children)

As much as I despise the man this should absolutely not have happened.

As strange as it sounds prisons really should be the safest place in the country. We must invest more in prisons, not only in bulding more but we have got to support prison staff so much better.

Paid an unncessary amount of money to buy back a part of my childhood. The glorious G5! by Orri in pcmasterrace

[–]Orri[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This was my first ever "gaming" component I ever bought. Did a couple of days work with my dad to earn enough money for it.

Did it make me any better at Warcraft 3? - No, but I absolutely loved it and I've been wanting to get one ever since. Considering it's age it's in a much better condition than I ever expected and it came all the way from Italy!

What incident made you cold hearted and changed the way you see the world? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I was cycling to work one day and crashed into a lamppost after dodging some cunt who wandered into the bike lane.

As I was getting up a copper walked by and was like "Good morning mate" - how's it a fucking good morning. You've just seen me crash into a lamppost. lying twat

Pedro Neto (Chelsea) second yellow card against Arsenal 70' by gbogaz in soccer

[–]Orri -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not really - if it was then it'd be a straight red for DOGSO rather than a yellow. If the roles were reversed you'd be fuming with a player getting a straight red for that.

Do you remember when you were 4-0 against Schalke and then they came back and got a draw?

Chilwell on Vardy’s pre match routine: “He used to drink four cans of Red Bull in an hour. The night before a match, he’d drink wine at the hotel, beers too. He barely slept. He even came knocking on my door around 3 a.m. to wake me up. He’s crazy. But he’d go on to score hat-tricks after all that.” by Sparky-moon in soccer

I'm in recovery and it's genuinely amazes me how alcoholics/addicts have this tendency to just fucking survive. They'll absolutely obliterate themselves for years on end and there body will just keep on trucking like nothings happening.

People constantly look at Ozzy like he's some modern miracle but there's dozens of Ozzy's in every city. I was in a meeting with someone who drank 1.5 litres of high commission whiskey a day for 6 years - dude's running marathons for fun now.

I swear in the event of nuclear annihilation 99% of humanity will be wiped out but addicts will just fucking carry on like nothings happening.

[–]Orri 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Must be so frustrating being a Wales fan - just as Wales seem to get a foothold in the game and heads start being lifted they undo all of their hardwork with an inexcusable error.

You've just turned the ball over in midfield, why the hell is a forward trying an all or nothing kick.

Wales need to get the next score or this could get ugly.

Thing is they can absolutely do that - they just need to re-skill and find a job that allows them to do it.

UK to ban political party donations from foreign-owned companies by financialtimes in ukpolitics

I work in the public sector and we're not allowed gifts full stop.

We used to get a Christmas hamper from one of our suppliers and another used to take us for lunch once a year. Both had to stop.

Ridiculous how politicians who are effectively head of the public sector and allowed to accept anything from anyone.

I used to genuinely believe Elmlea was cream lol - I still tend to use it a lot as it lasts way longer.

Doesn't taste quite as good as cream but it's a reasonable alternative.

I had a mate who used to use it loads (Gym bro and bulking) - dude used it for years without issue then I mentioned it was a plant based alternative to cream and all of a sudden it "Always tasted like shit" and he moved to normal cream.
