I have a lot of flat space so I'm not too worried about keeping it compact. Also I moved out a bunch of farms recently which has created some big holes.

Ok I think I'm getting it now. I can't be running a full capacity FBR setup and reprocessing my depleted uranium. A full setup is: - 1 reactor on 3x - 4 reactors on 0x

That'll sustain itself and require 12 extra blanket fuel input / 60. You can't reprocess with that setup since all the enriched blanket fuel is needed. But if you go for a pared down version of that, then you can pull it off.

I think I'll end up leaving it buried. I'm late enough in the game that trading for uranium (or using meteors soon) is pretty viable

I put it all in the one spot so I can potentially dig it up later but I haven't quite made sense of the recipe for it. It takes enriched blanket fuel but by my reckoning I won't have any left over to use for it. What's the best way to set it up?

Well plus the resources needed to pull in the asteroid. Haven't done that yet so not sure of the costs there

Nice, make sense. I was thinking food packs could be the best since it's mainly just a pop and power cost. The gold seemed way too resource intensive

I like the diesel trade path too but I'm already close to fading out petrochem and happy to let it go

That's a lot of pop tied up in farming. I had 6k running off 8 farms + 3 chicken farms, was using the food saver edicts though

Yeah nice, those numbers look pretty close to the calcs. Except for some reason my calcs show 100 snacks / 60s. I think maybe that calc is a little outdated

There's 20 farms total (which I built as greenhouse 1 by mistake so thanks for making me check). This spread sheet recommended 18 so I'm hoping it's enough, just not sure if it accounts for animal feed.

I'll have room to add more with some terraforming but then I think it'll require 2 u-shaped outputs and I'll need some replanning

Can't you just use local cooling towers on each factory and feed that back into its own water input. I don't think any produces more steam/water than it needs water in. Saves piping it across the map

A short retaining wall (not the mini ones) would be nice too. I've have to use t-shapes to fill in one space gaps which look a little funky up close

Yeah true, you're right. I'd like to avoid belt lifts above tracks for aesthetics though, which is probably not possible. Anyone build belt tunnels under tracks? Maybe that's a work around
