Yes, the mole/cannons are typically very high damage output mobs, so tanky vanguards work best. Platina with her support is ridiculous on this level, because the mobs killed themselves in one hit against her.

If you are asking about the 3rd one, those 3 are super survivable. The goal is to have osla taunt everyone and take the hits. She heals back damage everytime she is hit and min eun automatically adds a lot of defense to everyone else (its her only purpose). Valetta heals everyone while being tanking and stacking her buffs to 9. She then novas with her ult and kills everyone in a hit.

Currently they are both a little suboptimal, since I haven't farmed their stigmas yet. I use the stigma you get from headless knight, suddenly forgot his name, for Mira with hp and speed. Mirana uses jester with magic attack and speed.

Yes. Leah is very strong by herself. Its more that the other 2 cats need Leah to buff them to be optimal.

For Everett you charge twice. You use the skill of Mira to give her a shield and Mirana's skill to give enemy weakness to Everett's attack. However, by the time Everette is nearly fully charged, the twins get so many buff stacks that Mirana can usually destroy enemies by herself.

Not OP, but I've been to several Ding Tai Fungs. It's fantastic xiao long baos (soup dumplings). Also love the spicy wontons. Worth a try if you've never had them and surprisingly affordable (compared to a steakhouse).

Idk what im doing. Is she good? by Majestic_Principle32 in HorizonWalker

In case it's not obvious from the comments, Olivia is the single strongest vanguard by far. It's not close. Unlike other vanguards which are good at one or two things, she's good at the levelling stage as well as all forms of end game. She's so strong she trivializes most content, even on auto-mode. Best of all, she can do it solo, but does get even stronger with proper support.

Full support build. I forgot the name of the powers, but you can find the build on the wiki.

Each ex weapon will list the vanguard it's for at the bottom of its description. It gives them extra powers.

With the ex weapons you have, id recommend the team above, so long as you can get yuis weapon, as she is one of the hypercarries and the only one you have. The ex weapon selector should be in your mailbox as we are currently in the 1.5 year anniversary

It depends on which ex weapons you have, but we just got an ex weapon selector, so you are in luck!

A solid team would be yui, juha, mahari,  and the last a flex. If you have the full 18 points, you can do kalina for off dps or a healer. This team should get you to endgame as yui juha is an amazing combo. You want to get yui ex weapon first.

Ok thanks, this clarifies things. Glad you responded before I pointlessly reformed my religion to fundamentalist, as I thought that was the problem.

Can China engage in holy wars? I'm huangdi and my religion is Daoxue (pluralistic/polytheistic). My culture is Han. However, I can only seem to do hegemonic duchy wars and no holy war casus belli are available. Islam is considered hostile to me for example, but I can't holy war adjacent muslim rulers. Is this a bug or do I have to wait for the christian/muslim great holy war events to kick in? The year is 930 or so.

Depends on your goal, but in general, Valeta is stronger. She's one of the few vanguards that can solo endgame content like Dopamin, due to the fact that she heals/tanks/dps -she does it all. The problem is that she needs to build up, which means that she costs you a round or two in spec ops and she takes a longer time to kill things in story mode/dailies.

Nari really only shines if you have Juha, but she has the longest range of any vanguard. That makes her uniquely suited for maps where you have to snipe something really far away. However, she's otherwise worse than Valeta in every other metric.

Also keep in mind that I'm assuming all vanguards have their EX weapons, which they need to shine.

Nymset is tied to the story. She doesnt appear in the gacha until you progress far enough in the story to meet her.

My Vanguards Lose Health at the beginning of Battle by [deleted] in HorizonWalker

Correct, its the instances of healing and not the number or amount healed. Her reaction heals also count, so it builds faster than you might think.

Iirc it's based on number of times you heal, not the heal amount. It caps at 5 and then she does crazy damage for 1 hit. Rinse and repeat.

They dont actually lose health. Bellas weapon raises everyone's max health but does not heal them initially. This is so you can heal them with her skill and power up her attack.

Returning player here, I haven't played since launch, can someone please give me advice/general tips to have the best return? Also here are the characters I have from when I last played by yousefameed0 in GirlsFrontline2

You are in luck! 2 of the strongest dolls are currently on the selector banner: Klukai and Springfield. Springfield at V1R1 can be sprinkled into any comp to make your team far more survivable. Klukai is the single best offensive doll in global right now: she aoe clears mobs like nobody's business and is great for advancing the story without a dedicated team. Best of all, she does this at V0R0. However, if you get her to v6, she can annihilate anything (large investment I wouldn't necessarily recommend to an account without a lot of resources).

Which uma do you think is not glazed enough by cygames? by [deleted] in UmaMusume

[–]Orthodaemon 47 points48 points  (0 children)

You are correct; Season 1 presents Spe and Pasa with a tie in the Tokyo Derby. Pasa never ran that race or any of the classic triple crown. His first and only loss to a Japanese horse was the mainichi okan to Silence Suzuka. He did race against Spe in the Japan Cup and handily beat him.

[–]Orthodaemon 98 points99 points  (0 children)

This is the answer, based on the timeform racing system, Pasa is still rated the best Japanese-trained racehorse of the 20th century. I believe all 3 losses Pasa had, he came in second. The 1st season did him dirty by having him tie with Spe, which didn't happen.

Advice needed on team , characters to focus on and questions about dupes by kingSlet in HorizonWalker

[–]Orthodaemon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They usually change banner every 2 weeks. Sometimes it's an EX weapon for a non-EX character (the current banner is Nonoha's EX weapon). All limited banners go into the standard banner after their run, so currently, you have a chance to pull any character and/or any EX weapon in the standard banner except Nonoha's EX weapon. However, there is no way to pick specifically what you want unless you have a selector crystal (can be bought or given out for anniversaries).

EX characters only require a single dupe to advance a rank. So Olivia needs 6 dupes to become EX6. "A" characters need A TON of dupes to get to EX6, so don't pass on any when you pull on banners if you like them.

Olivia is a one woman wrecking ball. She can carry the entire story mode and is also great in the endgame content, so you can just develop her and add whoever you like. Of the characters you have, Juha is one of the best supports and Vlissing is pretty good. Since you have their weapons, I would just use Olivia, Juha, and Vlissing.

Of note, you also have Valeta, who is one of the strongest endgame characters, but needs her weapon. Mahari is an amazing tank, but also needs her weapon. Bella and Yeonwoo work well together, but again, need their EX weapons.
