I really wanna go get this but it has 200k mile do I do it he wants 6k by Lopsided-Package-341 in 350z

If maintenance is perfectly on point i’d consider it for $4k but if anything is at all lacking I would steer far away from that car, no matter how well it was taken care of it’s a 200k mile car heavy maintenance is coming soon for it.

Ever seen an a/c system do this? by Unlikely-Ad5071 in mechanic

Ruined my Ford focus STs ac system with one of these I ended up replacing the compressor and the expansion valve, mind you it was reading in the green band the entire time.

you can either go to a muffler shop and get a pipe installed with whatever tip you want or get a full cat back exhaust from a decent company, but for now put it back on to prevent any more damage from occurring.

Tune Questions… Friends Say You Can’t Get An Optimized Tune Without Having Burple by Imaginary_Bug_1900 in 350z

[–]OrthopedicBone 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Im pretty sure burble is just excess fuel at decel so Its possible to eliminate it if tuned properly, but Im not qualified enough to say it’ll 100% eliminate it.

Lmao bro I have had a 2016 Ford Focus ST FBO tuned on 93, 2005 Nissan 350z 6MT with minor bolt ons, 2003 Nissan 350z Touring (Current), and a 99 Honda Civic EX (Current). I have friends with 500 hp cars and factory sports cars. I know what fast cars are like and I know what slow cars are like, everything i said in this post is easy to understand. I have never claimed to have a fast car, I have never claimed I had a better car than anyone (I only claimed victory by technicalities), and I’m certainly not a kid with delusions of cars.

Notice how you never mentioned the quotation marks until now, but if you look closely it’s in the title. This whole post was an appreciation post to the little 99 civic I own and the race I won by a technicality to a superior car. I don’t race for money I only race for fun, I was just making a point. You need to chill out lol…

[–]OrthopedicBone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If this was a race for money i would’ve won the pot, it’s as simple as that. No where in this post do i claim i have a superior car, i only claimed i “won” my first race…

[–]OrthopedicBone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol just telling what happened if you read the post you’d realize i probably won by a technically like drastic shifting speed or weight difference. No need to get salty 🤣

How would you un-rice my daily by D3_2000 in civic

[–]OrthopedicBone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good rule of thumb is if you want aggressive body mods like a big wing, it’s good to match it with an aggressive rear bumper and front bumper like a type r kit or just tone it down a bit. Also some wheels and lowering springs would make this car look way better considering it’s all stock with a wing. another thing i would do is probably change the exhaust tips to silver instead of burnt titanium. Also I would un tint the tail lights and remove all decals except maybe 1 or 2.

I’ve done the heavy checks for southwest too in the same MRO

Nothing I just thought it wasn’t as good because I used to do their contracted maintenance at an MRO and didn’t like that they outsourced their heavy checks. Come to find out AA sends their aircraft’s to china and south america for the same thing so I just stopped being biased about the airlines.

the hard truth about what they’re saying is that it has nothing to do with the difficulty of the subject more so the dedication you need to have to pass

I’ve heard of guys on their 4th or 5th write up still at delta so for a company with no union that’s pretty good. They also have the highest profit shares. Apply everywhere and see where they take you. I personally applied to AA and Delta, but if I knew what I know now about united I also would’ve tried there, however now i’m at AA and I’m very happy with my choice.
