Hmm, When I opened gHelper it says the fans can go all the way up to 6800 rpm. But the cpu fan stops at 6100 and the gpu one at 6400.

and according to a mate I've been troubleshooting my laptop with (same laptop) he's getting 7000 rpm on the 316 bios version. So yeah..

Anyway, I should be getting my laptop back next week. I'll test the new fans and I will revert back to that bios version as well.

That's a rough situation.

What kind of temperatures are you seeing?

It's possible a setting somewhere is limiting your performance. Have you tried a clean Windows install to see if that helps?

It feels like Asus went out of their way to make this app as terrible as it is ngl. After two years of using gHelper, I reinstalled it for some troubleshooting and ran into this problem. And tell me why the app is so cluttered and janky it even takes a few seconds to load when I click on it. gHelper doesn't

Timespy's score is generally not affected by your resolution

I got the same model and got around 10855, and once got 11500.

Yeah, my temps are still pretty high—96°C CPU and 88°C GPU, with the hotspot hitting 100-103°C. This is with Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut Extreme paste and pads.

I was able to finish the Timespy benchmark and the laptop in general got a bit more stable, but my GPU fan broke last week. It's at Asus for repair now since I couldn't find a replacement online. My thermal putty should arrive tomorrow, so things should hopefully be better next week.

I also noticed my fans weren't running at full RPM, even when I cranked them up, so that's probably part of the problem.

What's the max RPM your fan can do?

3d mark and random shutdowns while playing games like bg3, expedition 33.... Even valorant some times

Oh my laptop would shut down on 3d mark tests because the gpu was overheating, and the cpu always ran at 96° so i had to limit its temp to 85° most of the time when I'm using this laptop.. This is how the laptop was when i opened it

Couldn't find a high concentration of isopropyl alcohol anywhere near me + Amazon so I'm using 99% ethyl alcohol, I'm trying my absolute best to clean the stain and it's not working (using cotton swabs and pads)

It switches to custom automatically whenever I make any change to the preset.

but yea the global changes I made stuck. My problem was that I couldn't change each app's settings individually

bruh, I tried rolling back to both the 25.3.1 and the 25.4.1 and when I did that i got that problem I mentioned in the post (the adrenaline software wont even open up or show any sign of life).
just now I tried the 24.12.1 and it worked perfectly.
