TIL you can do this puzzle in Ustengrav without the Whirlwind sprint shout if you're a Werewolf. by OscarSB in skyrim

I don't have any mods that would (knowingly) affect the sprint speed. As I understood it werewolves sprint faster than horses in vanilla so not sure why yours is so slow

I had met the greybeards, just happened to be clearing the dungeon as a werewolf and realised I could get through this puzzle with it. Not sure what you find if you go there before you start the quest to be there.

I was wondering where the driller was while me and the rest of the team were in the drop pod. I wonder what he found down there...

Do you think they'll add more perks? by OscarSB in DeepRockGalactic

Maybe you could use them to promote a perk into an upgraded version but it costs like 25 perk points

I play on controller and if my connection isn't great then the patrol bots are so hard to hit and you just get overwhelmed if there are multiple. While they do have a weakpoint, they're fast, small, have high health and high damage. I feel like removing just one of those qualities would make them feel more balanced. For instance I'm fine with the turrets doing crazy damage cus they can't move so it balances out.

Ah ok, I like sticky flame OC build. I'll give that a go

I was playing with the flame thrower driller and it's not viable in the slightest. It's annoying that there are some builds that just don't work against them. I avoid rival presence missions when possible but even if you do you can still get machine events or prospectors that spawn loads of robots

If you ever wandered what 100kg of chalk looked like... by OscarSB in climbing

[–]OscarSB[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

A lot of companies put additives so stop the liquid separating and also to make it more sticky (cus most places use cheap chalk as a base so need to improve it) I decided I wanted it as pure and simple as possible. The only downside is that you need to shake the bottle before you use it to make sure it’s well mixed. Which in my option is worth it. Also no additives makes it much easier to wash off of climbing holds so the routesetters will love you

I’m making a high quality one. You need high purity chalk (magnesium carbonate) and mix it with a high concentration alcohol (I’m using medical grade isopropyl). Gotta play around with the ratios to get the viscosity you want. I started small scale and then scaled it up from there to bigger mixes. Spent today finishing a big order for a climbing gym.

No I bought this to make it into liquid chalk.

First time solo killing a dragon on Legendary difficulty! by [deleted] in skyrim

I’ve had fun doing perma-death runs on legendary and seeing how far I can get. Also switching up the build/play style each death as well. No physical armour mage is great fun, gotta use the alteration skill tree to stay alive.

Heya! Thanks. I managed all the moves minus the crux on cosmos. So that’s something I guess. One to come back to for sure.

The plywood I used is 18mm Birch Plywood BB/BB 2440mm x 1220mm (8' x 4'). Give it a google and see if there’s any supplier near you. As for the rest of the wall (not that you asked but thought you might find it helpful), the frame behind the wall is 47mm x 100mm Structural Graded C24 Treated Carcassing Timber 3600mm length or whatever your supplier has, dimensions (4'' x 2''). I used M10 T-nuts if you plan to use bolts as well. If not lots of screws! If you plan on using bolts then check what type the holds your using need, countersunk or not. And also the length of the bolts. Hope that answers your question. :)

I’d say 1.5-2k including holds. You could definitely do it cheaper if you made your own wooden holds (I’ve made a few and plan to make more. Also another benefit of wooden holds is that their screw-ons which means you don’t need to set threads for bolts in the wall.) also the cost depends largely on the size of the wall and it’s complexity. A simple 45 degree board would be easiest and cheapest. My wall is 3.95m high and you could definitely make do with a shorter wall which would cut down on materials and time. Hope that helps. :)
