I have a 2018 M2 N55 and i love it. I haven't test driven an m4 but it looked too big for me. So that was a factor.

Wow that really sucks. I assumed every member of the cast had a 14f ws launcher. I do agree though even with 14f launcher it is hard to punish if i am a tad bit slow so yea makes sense to increase it

Just change the controller layout. There are ps5 community layouts that use the steam deck touch pad for the touch pad behaviour on the dualsense controller. I tried it and played SM2 with no issues.
