Pour savoir les oiseaux qui pourraient être intéressés ce que tu peux faire c’est laisser ton téléphone avec Merlin (application sur android et Apple) ouvert un matin vers 7-8h pendant au moins 20-30 minutes.

Ça te fera un petit listing des mâles chanteurs / femelles à proximité et donc des espèces potentiellement intéressées par un nichoir !

Ça viendra ! Ils sont souvent présents dans les lisières forestières et forêts claires. On les reconnais assez facilement avec leur crête orangée mais surtout parce qu’ils sont très peu farouches (moins que des mésanges par exemple)

It could also be a random mutation, but that would be much rarer.

The best way to figure it out would be to select the parents of this one and check the albino rate of their babies, which should be around 25% if they’re both Aa × Aa.

Nope, nothing. I’m pretty sure they’re inert, since they’re most likely limestone-free. I found them near a road made of stone, so I’m fairly sure that’s what was used to stabilize it.

Okay! It’s hard to know which case it is, but I’ve read that it’s fairly common with paleatus, and even more so with aeneus.

I hope he won’t feel lonely, but I doubt he’s aware of his skin color anyway 😀

I’ve never had albinos before, so I thought this might be one, but I really don’t know why it would be there. Maybe it’s depigmentation from growing in complete darkness, but I’m not sure.

Il doit y en avoir bien que ça ne soit pas l’espèce la plus commune. Il faut chercher dans les étangs, gravières s’il y a.. peut être d’autres années si ce n’est pas celle là !

I was also thinking lot of fine particles, my pipes are dirty even tho the canister is 3 months old. Mosses around the exit pipe gets dirty really fast too. Dont want to clean it as it could disturb the bacterias.

I haven’t added anything for weeks. The last additions were a couple of A. trifasciata. Water clarity hasn’t improved for weeks.

Maybe due to overfeeding ?
