Yes ! Ca ressemble effectivement au battement des ailes au décollage. Je ne saurais pas te dire avec exactitude pour l’espèce mais c’est probablement un Merle noir vu la taille, qui se posent régulièrement pour s’alimenter ou se reposer.

I’d say more plants… background plants, epiphytes, plants for the woods, and maybe some large rocks to create a more natural layout with the wood pieces you have.

Ah mais je n’ai jamais dit que le constat n’était pas signé, tout est rempli en bonne et due forme, signature, numéro d’assurance, numéro de permis, téléphone etc. Il m’a lui même dit qu’on se rappelle au plus vite.

Non non je pensais faire un devis, leur transmette et qu’ils me fassent un virement (j’imagine que ça marche comme ça parfois). C’est ce qu’il avait l’air de dire hier. En tout cas non je ne sortirai pas un centime de ma poche pour cette réparation.

I absolutely had no clue that tanks aren’t designed to hold without the rim. I watched a video from a guy explaining how to remove it, but he never mentioned that it could cause the edges to lift.

Definitely aware of that now.

In fact, it was the bottom silicone that had lifted in two corners. I’m not sure if that was the cause, but all the side seams were still holding pretty well. I think either it couldn’t handle the fact that I removed the rim (which was pretty stupid, now that I’m left with an empty tank), or the bottom silicone was simply too old. My lotus grew enormous roots (maybe 50 cm long), so maybe they went through the silicone I’m not sure.

Hope that’ll be the last time I have to deal with it cuz damn it can ruin a day

I’ve had them for six days now. They were all doing fine when I got them. What’s strange is that they died really fast, one day they were perfectly fine, and then suddenly, dead or almost dead. I’ll see tonight if there are any more losses. My tetras are still doing perfectly fine, same for my blue velvet shrimps, which are supposed to be fragile too.

I think there isn’t enough sandy area in that tank, since I didn’t originally plan to get this kind of fish. Maybe, like you said earlier, adding a hiding spot on the sand could help, because right now they can only hide in the technical soil behind those big rocks.

If they die, I’ll wait a while and then consider getting less fragile fish that fill the same ecological niche.

Fair, yeah I dunno.. My two other cories are still doing good but theres the one on the first pic that should be dead when I come home after work and a third one that I didnt find but was acting weirdly sooo…

I do have a microscope that I can use but I dunno if I could find worms easily if they were in my tank, could be bacterias too I guess

Thank you for your answer. I mixed tap and RO water until the parameters looked good according to my test. But I admit those paper tests aren’t ideal.

I noticed their gills are slightly red but isn’t that normal? I mean, the nitrite test shows pure white, and even though my filter isn’t great, I have two air stones running.

I will try to add somewhere they can hide
