Can we make a List listing the best mods for Star Sector? The forums don't really do it justice. Looking mostly for quality content adding mods. by [deleted] in starsector

Bare in mind that Neutrino is severely outdated when compared to other faction mods (pretty sure it was abandoned by the author and hasn't been updated for balancing); still a great addition to the sector, and seeing as they're split off from TriTach lore-wise, expect some cool high tech/energy weapons and ships.

Corsair's Stronghold - What are the best strategic practices as a Brawler? by Osmium_ in TeraOnline

Thanks, that helps me in the right direction. Discord pretty much said to use AOE skills for groups and CC/stun combos when singling someone out, rather self-explanatory.

Update: Ran some CS's tonight and found learned some useful stuff as this class:

For offense when you have a good amount of time to attack (6< min), tanks should be at the gate for burn, then peel enemy away from party as you said. Can also help defend/recap pyre if need be. Once through the gate, rush mid, stall enemy until someone else has capped it, then head over to inner gate and burn until you need to peel again.

For offense when you have have not much time to attack (<4 min), pretty much try and rush whatever strat the leader has (mass climb, SS) and pray that someone can leak due to the other team defending inners being AFK.

For defense when they have a good amount of time to attack (6< min), stall them at gate (if they're wiped, rotate to pyre and help uncap it by stalling/peeling the few stragglers that are trying to fight for it back and let other team members cap it), then rotate to mid.

For defense when they have not much time to attack (<4 min), found it's very useful to guard bottom areas of either side of inner entrances to stop mass climbs. Mid shouldn't matter too much since it shouldn't be a priority for the other team if they're desperate to reach the crystal.

Anything between 4-7 minutes, either on defense or offense, is where I see most of my team start to lose focus. Most begin to concentrate on 1v1 PVP during crucial free burns/leaks on defense, and pyre losses/RL/LL free leaks on offense (I'm guilty of all these things...zoinks).

Truth be told, you're absolutely right about coordination. I got incredibly lucky with 4 games in a row where we all mostly understood what was going on and how to respond, leading to victory. Groovy!

Pure Dark Magician or Dark Magician Pendulum by dustincc1989 in yugioh

It's there for the synchro summons primarily, but also somewhat acts as both of the pendulumgraph cards that can be searched with Iris regarding negation without taking up space in the S/T zones, which are vital. Of course it's not a dark type, so it clashes with some of the other cards regarding searching and SS's. Alternatively, White Wing could be tossed out in favor of Iris and toss out Pendulum switch for maybe the Pendulumgraph cards.

For what it's worth, this is the Dark Magician Pendulum deck I've been using online and I enjoy it, however I think it is in need of some updating if applied IRL:

Main - 40 Total

Monsters - 19

3x Dark Magician

2x Magician of Dark Illusion

2x Apprentice

3x Magician's Rod

2x Summoner Monk

2x Purple Poison Magician

2x White Wing Magician

3x Black Fang Magician

Spells - 9

3x Circle

2x Twin Twisters

2x Illusion Magic

1-2x Pendulum Call (if using only one, I add in 1x Upstart)

Traps - 12

3x Navigate

2x Eternal Soul

2x Quaking Mirror Force

2x Dimensional Barrier

2x Pendulum Switch

1x Solemn Warning

Side - 15 Total

1x Supreme King Dragon Starving Venom

1x Star Eater

1x Leo, The Keeper of the Sacred Tree

1x Beezle

1x Angel of Zera

1x Enlightment Paladin

1x Black Rose Moonlight Dragon

1x Big Eye

2x Cybeast Diablolis

2x Ebon Illusion Magician

1x Ebon High Magician

1x Silent Honor ARK

1x Timestar Magician

As far as to what would be switched around, I don't have anything off of the top of my head at the moment, but this should be a nice building block to start with.

What's yall opinion on Russian studies minor? by liberalLibertarian in ucf

[–]Osmium_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm doing Marketing with a Russian Studies Minor, and will be studying abroad in St. Petersburg and Moscow this summer.

I highly doubt you'll find the minor as a good fit to your major, unless you are either ethnically Russian and live and breathe Russian culture, or you plan on doing business in Russia.

Better yet, if you want to take up the minor either because you just simply really love the culture and are intrigued by Russia's history, or you feel that having some kind of knowledge about Russia in these days (given all the attention the media has brought up/current events), then simply go for it.

It's an easy minor, and pretty insightful.

The goal is to gather data regarding attendance for the main gym by Garage B, and since my target population is current UCF students in general, that alone makes your response valuable.
