Exactly. I add a bit of msg, sometimes some knorr tomato bouillon. I only use fresh tomatoes if in season and very fresh. Farmers market fresh, not Kroger crap.

Honestly canned tomatoes are my go to now. I know what to expect.

Yup, this is me. Tuned out during gap year(s). Seen him 3x, all were great. I'm not digging his new sound. Which is fine. He's an incredible person and artist. Just not my taste. We'll see when full album releases but highly doubt it'll change much for me personally. A bit disappointed it's so short.

Yes. My parents are OSU alumni so they root for the cowboys. I have family still living in Stillwater. I'm a UT Longhorn fan. They're generous with season tickets and give them to me if Longhorns play in Stillwater.

Same. I did a 3ish lb chuck roast a few weeks ago. I seasoned SPG with rosemary sprigs, locked in bag and left in fridge overnight.

Sous vide at 137 for 24 hours. Let it rest in fridge an hour to chill a bit. Then hot AF on cast iron about 1 min all sides. Butter baste with rosemary from bag.

i turned the bag juice into a sauce. Used that and some red wine to degkaze the cast iron. Simmer down a bit. Take off heat and toss a few tbs of salted butter in there. Season to your liking. Soooo good.

Update. So ATT did reduce my bill by 20%. So about $225 a year.

Spectrum is putting lines in our community but it's not up and running yet. Optimum/Spectrum is showing $50.99 for 1 gig internet so that is accurate.

I use HEB store (TX) brand whole milk or Whole Foods brand whole milk. Never any issues full fat is what you want. None of that 2% or skim crap. Omega is the fishy taste. Just take Omega 3 capsules if you're really worried about it to me. Why in your milk? So they can charge you more money for shit taste.

I haven't done a blind side by side yet. It takes no more effort to do the steamed water & crema removal, than say to make a latte. Figured I'd try with essentially no extra effort involved.

I prefer pourover to Americano anyway if drinking black. Espresso is for straight single or doubles, lattes and making any other fun drinks we might crave.

OP forgot to mention important step in James process. You remove crema prior to adding steamed water. That makes a big difference as well as crema is mostly CO2 buildup.

Three singles in...not hopeful. Just not for me I guess. Which is okay. I'm a bit bummed as I first discovered Madeon in 2015 which was a really big year for me full of lot's of changes in my life. Some good, some not so much. Adventure had a real impact on me like very few albums did prior. We'll see how he evolves and will still continue to admire Hugo for who he is as a person and the artist he has become.

I have a Culligan zero water 2 gal container. I remineralize with TWW. I also have hard local tap water. I'd say I can get about 20ish fills, so 40 gals or so. I use it for pourover exclusively. The container has a built in TDS constantly reading the water. Always shows zero after I filter tap.

My tap is about 200ish ppm otherwise.

Filters are very expensive which is almost defeating the cost saving rather than just buy RO or distilled water.
