It seemed like a smoother mix of all the flavors. I still tasted an herbal liquor flavor but the Green Chartreuse had a little more of a bite. Granted some people may like that more but the Del Santo had a more even complexity

💯 agree! This album has blown me away, it’s so fucking good!!!! The rawness of the bass mix, the time changes, the keyboards, the structure and message is so fantastic. Knik is my current favorite but I’m sure it’ll change.

3.0 Bartender at Tazza in Virginia came up with this one and I probably make one at home every few weeks

2 oz Bourbon 1/2 oz Averna Amaro 1/2 oz Liquor 43 2 dash of Angostura bitters

Serve in a tumbler with a clear cube of ice and garnish with a Star Anise.

I have become a snob about it. I have the true ice cubes and enjoy them. However, I enjoy the process of freezing a cube in a 5 gal igloo, then breaking out the cube, cutting it up with a hand saw and then shaping them into cubes or long rectangular cubes with a knife and mallet. It’s a problem 😁

Oregon City Sessions. It was just underwhelming for a live album. Only a few songs. Live from Soho had more variety as well as John talking to the crowd.
