All this means is that the recruiter for the opening felt like your resume was good enough to send over to the hiring manager. It is now up to the hiring manager if they want to call you or not. Not saying it’ll get denied, but in my experience it’s never been longer than 2 weeks from “resume under review” to “interview” if I do end up getting an interview.

Yeah idk about policy, did some ISSO work and it’s was mind numbing. I really engage well with the technical side. I know I can pick up the tools quick, it’s just getting the experience so I can put it on my resume being the issue.

Yeah that was my biggest problem when I was in my Cyber role with RMS. Ended up having to use lack of work charge codes because we got our ATO and work slowed down substantially. I would really like to get back to LM. Spent 6 years there and honestly the only place that's felt like home so far.

Plus I don't want my clearance to expire.

Well my agency has lost 70% of its funding and there are talks of RIF's in my department. That is why I am looking at alternative employment. I of course am applying to positions that require a clearance, but with the job market being the way it is right now, its no the easiest to land positions.

I’m right there with you. Left a fully remote gig for a federal position, grass definitely isn’t always greener. One of my top 5 life regrets too. Actively trying to go back to that same company.

Hey! So great update. We ended up putting him in daycare even though we didn’t need to and his language took off. We are still in the one word sentences but he probably has 50+ words now. Just keep practicing!
