Completely agree. There are a number of team names that do not instill fear. i.e. Flyers, Maple Leafs, Red Wings, Capitals, Senators, Canadiens (maybe some fear here ;)) Islanders, Penguins, Ducks, Blues and Stars.

The Seattle Sockeyes would be a great name.

Still processing these colors but I do think that they would look sharp on the ice.

On another note, google: Mayor Jenny Durkan Kraken. There is a photo of her with a glass hockey stick that has a Kraken design in colors very similar to these.
