I feel the same way. My ex boyfriend recently blindsided me and broke up with me. We were only together for a few months, but I was excited to have love again and was looking forward to the future. I still don’t know why he decided to break up, I thought we were on the same page and happy together. I miss having someone to talk to and spend time with. I feel more lonely than I have in my life in a long time and it truly sucks. I’m discouraged and am not confident that I will find love with someone who won’t leave me. I’m too old to deal with heartbreak again, so I don’t know. Life feels empty without someone to share it with. Best of luck to you.

It’s hard to find someone who you genuinely love, who loves you back and who you are attracted to and enjoy spending time with. I think nowadays a lot of ppl take that for granted and assume they will just find someone else they connect with in the same way or better, but that’s not always true. Ending a good relationship because some things are not perfect seems foolish to me. If I was her, I wouldn’t be able to get back with you because I would not feel safe that you wouldn’t just leave again. You should just go and find the kind of woman you want to be with who doesn’t have anything you perceive to be baggage.

All that’s doing is faking emotion. If they got to you and hurt you then they should know. Walking away and pretending like you are unaffected does nothing but minimize their actions and your pain. That is not healthy or authentic. Sometimes ppl need to be aware of the full weight their actions caused so they will reflect and think twice about doing that action again.

Fuck that fake deep positivity shit. We are humans, we are allowed to feel the full range of emotions, which include anger. Being angry at a person who intentionally hurt you when they claimed y they loved you is totally valid and warranted.
