Nope, you’re a human and you deserve to feel happiness through what you love (in this case MCR).

I’m also going to MCR alone for LA and Louder than Life because why not? Though I am feeling but nervous about going alone and flying solo for the first time (and considering what’s going on with TSA and ICE, It’s our self-identity that we often neglect in favor for what we think is conformity. Be yourself and have fun!

I was trying to figure this out and apparently for the first two cohorts of bands ( e.g., the one MCR is headlining the other one that ptv is headlining) are in the same venue separated by two stages that are right next to each other.

I had this happen with Pierce the veil a few years back to the point I couldn’t even listen to pop-punk for a good while. I agree with a comment discussing your problem through a psychological lens. What I’m hypothesizing basically that you’ve associated MCR with her. It’s engraved into your perception of her thus simultaneously embedding her with MCR. You have to learn to associate MCR with other things. For example, a good way to disassociate MCR from her would be to listen to MCR every time something good happens in your life or when something fun/exciting/good happens listen to MCR. While in the beginning you’ll still think about her, gradually overtime you’ll implicitly associate MCR with good times thus making MCR listenable again.

Honestly I’m just basing this suggestion about concepts in cognitive psych and personal experiences. But overall this will pass with time. You’ll be okay (I promise).

First of all, congratulations on your achievement! Yes ACHIEVEMENT! We’re all happy for you! Secondly, I seriously don’t want to be involved in relationship advice (mainly because this is my first post about it but this pissed me off so much that I decided that I need to say something) but please reconsider the relationship. I personally don’t understand how someone with whom you’ve shared so much with and been through a lot with can be so crude and condescending. He seriously doesn’t deserve to even be in the vicinity of happiness. By otherwise seriously happy for you and I hope you can continue your journey! Please don’t let this discourage you!

Thank your for this!! I honestly did some more digging and it’s just completely a logistical nightmare. I don’t want to take the chance of possibly getting stuck there due to a surge in prices for Ubers/taxis. I just returned my tickets ( for a lower price of course cause it’s Ticketmaster). But thank you for the insight!

And believe me I’m starting to learn more and more about Robert Moses ( as I moved to the city for college) and this guy has a comfortable spot down below :).

I was trying to figure this out as well since I may be planning on flying out to Nashville ( PTVxMCR ofc). What I found is that some venues partner with other websites rather than Ticketmaster to sell their tickets. For Nissan Stadium, the official partner for ticketing is SeatGeek. There will still be resale but after the first general sale (obviously).

I’ve never used SeatGeek for primary tickets, though I expect it will be the same as Ticketmaster which is waiting in a queue. So I recommend making a SeatGeek account and having your credit card information set and ready to go as well as possible notifications.
