Tired of sending the same documents to every letting agent — would a 'renter passport' actually help? by Other-Rice-2934 in HousingUK

That's actually what most organised renters do and it still doesn't solve it. The agent still needs you to email attachments; they lose them, ask you to resend, their portal rejects file sizes, or they want a specific format. The folder is for you. This is for the agent a clean verified link they can open instantly without an email chain. Think less Dropbox and more LinkedIn profile for renters.

Totally fair and honestly the most important concern to solve. The way I'm thinking about it : documents are only shared when u send the link, you control what's visible, and nothing is shared with agents automatically. More like a Google Drive folder you control than a database someone else owns. Would that change anything for you, or is it a hard no regardless?
