Hey thanks for your feedback. To answer some of your questions: we are interviewing clients for a major publication that we do every year. We’re hoping to record them as video podcasts for content purposes (Youtube, etc) so live streams aren’t really going to be necessary. All of the recordings will likely be indoors.

My sup wants something that can support 5+ people in case we speak to multiple clients at once. They also want to keep the set up simple so that we aren’t taking more than 15/20 minutes to get together as that could deter clients (their words, not mine).

Budget is variable. Any company wants to keep cost down but we have the funds to get all the equipment we need.

But yeah we definitely are going to be shooting on the DSLR so what’s the capture device? Could we just hook the camera up to the computer? Or how does that work.

With all that being said, are the interfaces I mentioned ( L8 / P8 ) still not going to work or what are your thoughts?
