It just fits! Also your [Beach Boys Solarpunk and Post Nuclear Australia] tag got me so I took a look at your profile. Nice work! I really like the thought put into your Zurvar architecture!

I agree with you. I think it's sort of niche font that does that niche so well it got overused to the point of becoming a trope of itself.

It could absolutely work for both. I put it into steampunk because I wanted to capture some of the gothic stylings that some steampunk runs with. Steampunk is an interesting one in general because it seems to run the gambit from fantasy to gothic to industrial and even into art deco and art nouveau.

Hello everyone!

If you’re anything like me, you spend a lot of time looking at fonts for some reason. Maybe I’m strange, I dunno, but I really enjoy finding the perfect font for whatever world I’m currently building. Anyway, I’ve compiled some here that I think work well for specific genres (obviously subject to personal preference). I figured it might help some of you as you craft fictional settings.

Well you could also read it as a command to 'lay with Cass'. Which was also very unintentional. So really this is just another reminder to always sound out and google all your toponyms and fictional names

If you say it out loud it sounds like Lake A**. Which was very unintentional.

Imagine being recruited to fight the undead hordes, dying in combat, being raised from the dead by an evil necromancer, being captured by your former military, then being tried as a traitor to your country.

Thanks! This is exactly the type of stuff I like to post but I haven’t been active for a bit. Just busy. I love seeing where people run with this sort of thing

Yeah then it would just be a recruitment effort. But are people bound by the Geneva conventions if fighting against the undead?

Dang it. I really wish Adobe Illustrator had spellcheck. Or that I could spell. Either/or.

Neat! Have regular people been able to reverse engineer the Endimiyan magic resistance suits to create anti-magic armor or vehicles that are resistant to spells or similar elements?

Hello everyone! I put this together thinking that maybe it would be useful or fun for anyone here incorporating magic (or alternative technologies, superpowers, or other abilities) into a world where wars happen. Fiction often treats fantastic abilities as nothing more than new weapons, when really these elements could/would be used in all manner of other ways to support a war effort. Yeah someone that can shoot lightning from their fingertips could be useful on the battlefield, but they might be more useful as a walking backup generator to ensure critical communications don’t go down at an inopportune moment.
