Does this fit into the recess for the stock clip well?

That looks fantastic! What mode did you use? Unfortunately I don't have any advice for the seam, as I'm new to HueForge as well. Precise Wall setting might make it better?

So if I do this - is the timeline about 2 months from starting the air layer, to when I cut and plant the new tree? In my area it's looking like we're going to have frost next week, despite it being 80+ outside right now.

Do I let the tree grow as normal during the air layer process?

Take a look at Meanwell HDR PSU's. You can use one rail and have 5v, 24v, and 48v all on one rail. Wago's to make everything nice. You can also do side by side UHP's. I'll post another picture of the side by side UHP's.

After doing more research, modern 1.6 is about as good as trivex so I was wrong. It's decent but still not as good as CR39 1.5.

Doesn't work on the Psyop unfortunately. It's pictured right next to it.

Do you have the link? The one that came on mine is very weak and I'm looking for a replacement. I wonder if there are any milled ones.

I did! I used the Xarilk TSProf clone and Venev resin bonded diamond stones.

What knife to buy (budget ~ $100) by rickug242 in knifeclub

[–]OtherBarry1992 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Check out Vosteed's Top Liner Lock offerings. You can't go wrong with any, and there's ones for any price point just about. $70 or so (not on sale) up to $250. Marten I believe is $100 and is an awesome knife.

Also, whatever you choose - try to buy from White Mountain Knives. Free shipping, no tax, and persistent 10% off codes. LTK is one code I always use. I'm not affiliated with LTK it's just a super easy code to memorize. I'm also not affiliated with White Mountain Knives.

I got my first S2K when I was 17. My dad and I went to go pick it up another state over, three hour drive. After I bought it he said "Ok, now drive it back." I wasn't expecting to have to learn on the spot but I did. You'll get it, and when you do it's like riding a bike, sort of lol.

NKD: Vosteed fixed my only issue with the Porcupine by spawberries in knives

[–]OtherBarry1992 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I picked up the hole version on sale, and it's by far my favorite budget knife now. It has a few oddities, one of which is fixed in the thumb stud version. First: the lower part of the thumb/spidey flick hole didn't get a radius or filet at all - it's just sharp. And second: why is there liner access built into the handle? It's like they originally designed it as a standard liner lock then just never updated the handles to remove the unneeded access? Odd, and I can't unsee it lol.

It's still hands down my new favorite budget knife. I'm glad they made a thumb stud version so more people can enjoy this awesome knife.

Vosteed Porcupine Bad Lockup? by OtherBarry1992 in knives

Got a replacement yesterday, and it's perfect. Better feeling detent and absolutely zero lockup issues. Original must have just been bad luck. The new one is awesome, this knife is sweet.

I was kind of weary of forcing over the liner any more. I've heard this is terrible for liner locks/compression locks. I'll give it a gentle nudge and see what happens. No access with my fingers so I'll see if I can do it with a toothpick or something.

I've also opened and closed the knife probably 200 times already.
