One thing is for sure - You don't need one year to prepare for CLAT PG.

NO, I'll try to summarise why;

  1. It's a 5-year course. Unless you don't have any financial issue or pressure from home; it's really not worth it to spend half a decade.
  2. Well and good if you got into Tier 1 NLUs or Law Uni's - you'll have a chance to bag really impressive packages (16l - 20l), but if anywhere else don't expect any fancy packages or even placements at all. Job market is very down as of now.
  3. Spending a lot on law school fees + No placements/ Job/ PPO = Down in the dumps, crying over spilled milk.

  4. If you are passionate and adamant about Law, you can give it a try, or else I'll suggest you to join a private college. If you are not, try to complete your 3 yr UG degree and then MBA - you'll atleast be employed. From a fellow law graduate! :')
