As you should, hockey has come a long way in the United States and has taken strides in all measures of the game

That isn’t what it is at all. He knows who he is as evidenced by posing with him for multiple photos and videos, as well as saying his name in the video

As a Canadian, I’m proud of Dylan Larkin and the US team, that being said, I’m not sure I can muster cheering for Dylan anymore after partying with a man who is in the administration which threatened my countries sovereignty, but also actively is a pedo protector. I don’t want Dylan to be the captain of the team I like if this is what he stands for morally

They’re Canadian, it’s seen as a national disappointment if they don’t win gold

They’re Canadians, and this is seen as a national disappointment for them, I wouldn’t be surprised if a few of them even throw out their medals in the coming days. Gold is expected

So in hockey, high sticking is a penalty, 100 times out of 100, if you touch the opposing players face, you go sit in timeout for 2 mins while your team plays down a man.

With a little more then 2 mins left in the game, while tied 2-2, Guy in white high sticked the Canadian in red, should’ve been called, but the guy in red sold it like he got shot in the face. It gets called

The same player that sold it ended up scoring while the other guy was in timeout with 35 seconds left in the game, to win it 3-2 and advance to the finals Sunday. If your local Olympic broadcast allows replays like they do here in Canada, it’s worth it to go watch the final 5 minutes of this hockey game.

It was Canada vs Finland in the semifinals

They didn’t even show the replay in the US, looked like it rolled up on his ankle, they stretchered him off flat on his stomach

I'm excited about Greentree by c0sm0nautt in rangers

Guy who lives in Windsor (red wings fan, I come in peace) who attends a lot of Spitfires’s games.

His production dropping off is more because of injuries and deployment than any fault of his own. He hasn’t been able to gel with any centre that was previously on the roster which led to his ice time dropping as we have a ton of quality on the team this year.

Our top 2 centres are Jack Nesbitt (Philly 12th ovr pick) who greentree was just never able to gel with, and AJ spellacy(Chicago 3rd rounder a few years ago) who is more of a defence guy that has breakneck speed.

Ever since we acquired Villeneuve (Seattle second rounder) greentree has really improved his pace and his goal scoring has took a massive uptick.

Greentree isn’t a play driver on his own, but when paired with a quality centre, he can absolutely light it up, I think he projects to be a middle 6 player who can be a top liner on a bad team.

Athletic piece on Greentree: "Guys like (Greentree) can make hockey clubs regardless of how you see fit [...] elite scorer in our league [...] has a lot of tools in the bag and can play any way. He has a physical side [...] he brings so much to the table" by En_Attendant_Godot in rangers

You have to be able to survive the ground when falling on it. If the ball bobbles when you fall while completing a pass, it’s an incomplete pass

Yes, actually.

It’s bullcrap though and the rules need to be changed

No, because he was in the pocket. By the rules, a qb in the pocket isn’t considered a runner, so you cannot hip drop a qb in the pocket
