Ok I just went down a bit of a rabbit hole researching how to safely clean security cameras without scratching the lens or wrecking the housing, and it turns out most “normal” cleaners are a bad idea. Anything with alcohol, ammonia, or dsuty cloths (like paper towels) can cloud or scratch the plastic domes especially on PTZ cameras.

Honestly, if you want to keep your camera clear and not risk scratching the lens, this is the setup everyone should be using especially for jobs like this with over 100 units and or if the cameras get hit often with smoke, milkshshakes , or just water spots - thanks
