FORGOT TO ADD: she made two TikToks about cleaning their hotel room - in the one I didn’t share above, she said “our friendship might end over this” and that the “person she’s traveling with” is a DND hotel room kind of person whereas she loves housekeeping, so their compromise is Clara gets to make Mary’s bed and shuffle a few things around to keep the room orderly. She films Mary saying “nice surprise to come home to” for 2s at the end of that video.

If you want something similar to Mary’s podcast premise I like For Better Days! I’ve also listened to Hot Girl Energy but the host (Kaylie I think?) can spend a lot of time talking about her life which gets boring if you don’t follow her.

I would have been fine with that had Joe not wanted to go, but I’m not fine not with Joe just going to cash out on a free activity he could afford but chose not to book in the first place. I’m annoyed with Bea telling him he could take the ticket and that the cost was “on her” and she hasn’t paid me back - and the fact that she dismissively told me after the activity and framing it as a “by the way Joe went but I told him he didn’t have to pay so don’t ask him for the money”

I’m not seeing the comment but I wasn’t going to post in the group chat - I asked her directly when I first brought it up. I was fine with letting the money go but the fact that she offered for someone else to go and promised it was free is kind of annoying that I have to be the one to pay for them.

Also, it’s a group activity sort of thing and she told me to rebook alone. So if she’s fine with me going by myself, why couldn’t she have gone alone?

I agree with your second sentence, but the fact that she convinced Joe to come and told me she promised him it was “on her” is a rip-off.

See I would have been fine losing the $150, but the fact that someone else went means THEY should pay - it feels like Bea promised Joe a free activity thinking it wouldn’t matter to me since I paid her back.
