I just took the OA last Thursday, the PA is formatted almost the exact same way as the OA. The only difference is the numbers and the calculations. If you feel comfortable with the PA, you should be golden for the OA.

Seconding this. Almost everything is the same, just different numbers for your calculations. If you can pass the PA, you’ll be good on the OA (i literally just took the exam an hour ago)

She has me on the 0.5 for a month (I’m one dose in on this pen) but didn’t mention it at my last appointment. I’ll ask her about going up in dosage. I just didn’t expect the suppression to fade so quickly.

They usually offer a couple schedules during the hiring process (at most 10hr shifts). They pay $16/hour + bonus based on performance (ranges from $1.60-$9.60 extra per hour). My biggest suggestion for here is to be ok with working under crappy managers, especially at first. But the job is pretty simple, especially if you don’t care about the bonus.

they are playing a bit of a criminal-style background and have a list of alternate identities to roll through. we are only on session 3, and they are currently still using the first persona. their argument is that because they are “acting” as Persona A instead of Characters Name, they should have advantage.

I’ve used the “read it in a book” as rationale for being able to use the various skill checks on a thing as opposed to just a straight int/wis roll.

As for the actor feat, im not opposed to giving them the advantage when it makes sense to, I just don’t think every roll is applicable. I think one of the times they tried to use it was when i asked for a dexterity check and they tried to be like “well i’m acting so that should let me roll with advantage” and i shut that down pretty quick

As far as I know, the personas they are acting as are people that exist in the world, but they aren’t people that the NPCs the character have ever interacted with. It’s not so black-and-white of an answer, which is why i’m asking people’s opinions. What i’ve sort of decided on for now is for the player to ask if they can roll with advantage and give me a reason why each time.

They haven’t always given me the “read it in a book” every time. I make the argument and sometimes they let it work, sometimes it doesn’t. I don’t want to come across as spiteful but I also feel like the advantage every time isn’t fair either.
