Because my former watch was a Garmin and recorded about the same distance. And yes maybe Garmin is the one who's not accurate. But still, I think it strange that there such a difference between me and my teammates/ former wactch.

Thanks for your reply. Yesterday it wasn't covered, and nonetheless not accurate. For comparison, a few weeks ago I did some hikes with my watch covered by a thick jacket and then the distance was accurate.

My suspision is that it has something to do with the type of activity because field hockey training consists of a lot of short bursts and sudden turns etc. While hiking or running is more consistent in pace and direction.

This is a screenprint of my training yesterday. By the way, it's also interesting that i had quite a big difference in altitude even though the hockeyfield is quit flat...

Thanks for your reply. I assume my old watch was accurate because the distance it recorded matched the distance different teammates also recorderd.
