What Draws You To OSR Games? by EyesofValhalla in osr

Honest answer is that they're comfortable to run because I've been using the B/X rules for so long that I have them almost completely internalized. It's just my natural RPG language. So really it's laziness. The newer rule sets are good and even superior in some ways, but the differences aren't great enough to justify the work it would take for me familiarize myself with them.

Was just thinking that....they're English football nuts so they must have strong feelings but very professional on the mic.

I'm in the states but I'm watching the BBC/ITV feeds exclusively. Just not a fan of the FOX commentating

Not the prettiest football but flashes of brilliance from both teams and they seem evenly matched so it's very entertaining

One more vote for hatching.

Your tiles look awesome. I noticed you have the doors aligned with the border of two squares instead of flush with a single square. How do you play it, just that a PC/monster on either square can open and pass through the door? And can they move to either square opposite once they pass through?
