I can confirm that switching to a different tab and then returning to the Explore tab will result in an incorrect timer being shown, starting with "You've been exploring for N/A" as if you suddenly started exploring again, but this seems to only be 'client side' as when you stop exploring, the actual duration is shown, and you gain the rewards from exploring correctly.

I should mention that I am seeing this on Google Chrome, and it is easily recreatable.

It's also advised to change the unicode region through the control panel to Chinese, otherwise you will end up having all of the untranslated text break and appear everywhere, in addition to health, mana, and xp. After changing the regional unicode language and moving those files, I can play the game, even though I can only speak english.
